Shannon & Brian’s Wedding

Shannon & Brian tied the knot on the 31st of August at the lovely Lynnhurst Hotel in Johnstone. I spent the morning with Shannon & her girls in their hotel room as they got their glam on, munched on toasties and sipped some bubbly. Shannon’s flawless make-up (brows on fleek!!) was done by the talented Louise Dyet Make-Up Artist and her hair was beautifully styled by her hairdresser friend Jacqueline. Shannon’s hair piece was her “something borrowed” from one of her best friends from her wedding day. This made for a sentimental touch as another of Shannon’s best friends had worn it on her wedding day too. With anticipation building, Shannon stepped into her gorgeous Tullablush Bridal dress with the help of her Mum. Shannon had the straps of her dress altered, changing them to Swarovski crystal embellished straps and opting for a thicker belt for around her waist. A Cathedral length veil and Sophia Webster wedges finished the look. She was STUNNING!!

The weather was glorious, which allowed the couple to say their I Do’s outside in the lovely grounds of the Lynnhurst. Brian was looking dapper in his suit from Forbes whilst he awaited the arrival of his Bride, who was walked down the aisle by her very proud Dad. Janis Reilly performed a fun and personal humanist ceremony and with that, Shannon and Brian became Husband and Wife!

We had a VIP guest arrive shortly after the ceremony to have his photos taken with the Bride & Groom…their gorgeous dog Marley, who was even dressed for the occasion with his little bow tie! After some photos with family and friends, we made the most of the good weather and gardens of the venue and got some lovely shots of the newly weds.

DollyBird Stationery did a phenomenal job of transforming the reception room with stunning flower & crystal centre pieces aswell as a flower wall for the top table, table plan and table name places, to name but a few things.

After some hilarious speeches, in which Brian was slagged off rotten, guests were treated to a fab meal which was finished up with a surprise performance by the Singing Servers! These guys were brilliant and had the whole room rocking!! I’ve never seen so many people up on their chairs after a wedding meal!

The evening reception got into full swing with the amazing band The Cartel performing and filling the dancefloor. You know it’s going to be an epic night of partying when the Father of the Groom is buying the Groom shots!!

Congratulations again, Mr & Mrs Foster!
